How to start therapy
Expect compassionate warmth, and a bit of humor
What services do you offer?
I offer individual therapy to clients via tele-health in MA, NH, NY, and MN. Most clients meet weekly or biweekly for therapy sessions.
What is your approach?
By integrating these diverse approaches, I tailor therapy to your unique situation, providing a flexible framework to explore and address your concerns. Whether you’re dealing with stress, anxiety, relationship issues, or seeking personal growth, our work together will aim to empower you with the insights and tools necessary for lasting change. My practice is grounded in the following modalities:
- Mindfulness: This technique helps you become more aware of your thoughts and feelings in the present moment without judgment. It’s about living more fully in the now, which can lead to greater peace and mental clarity.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): CBT is a structured, goal-oriented therapy that challenges and helps change unhelpful cognitive distortions and behaviors, improves emotional regulation, and develops personal coping strategies that target solving current problems.
- Internal Family Systems (IFS): IFS is a transformative, evidence-based psychotherapy that helps you heal by accessing and loving your protective and wounded inner parts. It fosters self-compassion and understanding, promoting inner harmony and balance.
- Relational Therapy: This method emphasizes the importance of relationships in our lives, including the therapeutic relationship, to foster growth and change. It focuses on improving your interactions with others and understanding the role relationships play in your mental health.
How to Connect with Me for Therapy
Step 1: Reach Out Through the Contact Form To begin, please fill out the contact form on my website’s contact page. This is the first step to getting in touch, and it helps me understand a bit about what you’re seeking from therapy.
Step 2: Schedule a 15-Minute Introductory Call Once I receive your form, we’ll arrange a 15-minute phone call. This call is an opportunity for us to learn more about each other. You can ask any questions you have about therapy, and I can gain an understanding of your needs and goals.
Step 3: Decide If We’re a Good Fit If we both feel that we’re a good match, we’ll schedule our first therapy session. This will mark the beginning of our journey towards your wellness and growth.
I look forward to connecting with you and supporting you on your path to well-being.
Do you accept insurance?
At this time, I only accept private payment or out-of-pocket payment. I do not accept insurance but I am able to provide a superbill or statement for you to submit to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement. I accept payment through Simple Practice, a secure payment platform including HSA funds. I am an out-of-network provider. While I do not accept in-network insurance plans, I can help you submit for out-of-network reimbursement.
